Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of OR experience and current BLS certification for a daytime Surgery unit position.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Surgery/OR unit
• 8-hour day shifts from 06:00 to 15:00
• On-call and call back are required for this role
• 13-week travel assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in the operating room
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• License required if applicable
• Ability and willingness to take call as needed

Additional Information

• Role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and supporting the operating room team
• All candidates must accept call requirements to be considered
• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Additional certifications such as DCI/BVP may be preferred
• Candidates must have required experience with the facility's EMR system
