Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with NBSTSA certification and recent CVOR experience for a hospital cardiovascular operating room position.

Details

• Position is in a hospital cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) unit
• Typical schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:00 to 16:30
• Requires at least two days of weekday call and 1-2 weekends of call per 6-week schedule
• First scrub experience is required, but FA certification is not necessary
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses within the healthcare system based on census needs, but only to units for which they are qualified

Requirements

• NBSTSA certification and active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• AHA BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR or operating room experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
• Two professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include primary scrub responsibilities for cardiovascular surgeries
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to approval based on staffing needs
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• Free parking is available onsite
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate if residing under 100 miles from the facility
• Travel eligible candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates within 50-99.9 miles may be considered at reduced rates
• RTO restrictions apply with all requests required up front
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding
