Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with 2+ years Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility experience and Siemens MR proficiency for weekend day shifts.

Details

• Work in a hospital MRI department with potential floating to another nearby hospital
• Handles MRI cases including anesthesia and pediatric patients
• Experience with Siemens MR equipment is required
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS with experience preferred
• Three 12-hour day shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (MR) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting preferred
• Experience with Siemens MR systems required
• Knowledge of MRI safety, including implant screening and adherence to scanning protocols
• Experience working with anesthesia and pediatric patients
• Two recent supervisory references from within the last three years required for consideration
• State license not required; license required if applicable
• No adverse licensure history accepted

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include performing MRI scans, researching implants, and following strict MRI safety guidelines
• Must provide all requested time off at time of application; RTO submitted later will not be approved
• Permanent staff must have a six-month separation before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not eligible for this position
