Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Tech with strong endovascular and open vascular experience for a CVOR position requiring 2 years of vascular OR experience.

Details

• Work in a hybrid OR within a CVOR unit at a Level 1 trauma facility with 42 operating rooms
• Responsibilities include endovascular and open vascular surgical procedures
• Day shift, 12 hours (6:45–18:45), with occasional start times at 10:45 and weekend shifts as needed
• On-call required, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule
• Floating may occur between service lines and to sister facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of vascular OR experience required
• Vascular-specific surgical technology skills in both endovascular and open cases
• CO DORA certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• First-time travelers accepted if all experience requirements are met

Additional Information

• RTO (time off) is limited to 10 days and is not permitted during specified blackout dates
• Duties involve supporting vascular surgical teams and ensuring safe operative procedures
• Work as part of a highly skilled surgical team in a Level 1 trauma environment
• May be required to wear appropriate surgical scrubs per hospital policy
