Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital, with experience in adult outpatient and emergency department settings and Epic EMR proficiency preferred.

Details

• Work setting includes adult outpatient and emergency department environments in a community hospital
• Floating required between CT and X-Ray departments
• Schedule is 72 hours biweekly: every Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 PM–6:00 AM (9.5 hrs), every other Friday 8:00 PM–6:00 AM (10 hrs), and every other Saturday/Sunday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (12 hrs)
• Night shift position with every other weekend required
• Epic EMR experience preferred; training provided during orientation
• Procedures include CT of the abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions, with and without contrast
• Advanced imaging capabilities include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Preferred equipment experience includes GE, Toshiba, and PACS systems

Requirements

• ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Current BLS required; AHA-issued certifications preferred
• 5 years of experience preferred; candidates with less experience will be considered if all other requirements are met
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Experience in adult outpatient and emergency department settings required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proof of high school level education required
• MI state license required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and must be verified through HR prior to consideration
• Maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment; all RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Pre-start modules are required and vary by specialty
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Orientation runs approximately two weeks with rotating days to ensure comprehensive coverage
