Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist with 3+ years of experience and active ARRT (T) certification for a 13-week outpatient oncology assignment on a 4x10 schedule.

Details

• Outpatient medical group setting within a cancer hospital oncology department
• 4x10 schedule, Monday through Friday, with alternating shifts between 7:00–17:30 and 9:00–19:30
• No weekend requirement
• Average daily census of 65 patients
• Charting performed in ARIA
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active ARRT (T) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Connecticut state license required if applicable; pending licenses accepted provided the license is active prior to start date
• Minimum of 3 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Experience with ARIA EMR preferred given its use at this facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted for approval; the facility may auto-approve up to 7 days of RTO
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination with booster is required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
