American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract in Augusta, VA.

Details

• Works in a hospital radiology department handling an average daily census of 150 exams
• Patient care settings include adult outpatient, bedside/portable, ER, ICU, OR, and pediatric outpatient
• Patient ratios are 1:6 for days, 1:4 for nights, and 1:3 for weekends
• Procedures include full-body plain film X-ray across abdomen/GI, chest and thorax, head, spine and pelvis, and upper and lower extremities
• Mobile and surgical imaging includes C-arm procedures (O-arm preferred), portable chest, and portable abdomen
• Equipment includes GE, PACS, and Siemens
• Night shift schedule: Friday and Saturday 9:00 PM–9:30 AM, Sunday 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Meditech and AGFA APCS experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Valid ARRT certification required
• VA state license required (temporary license accepted); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Experience across multiple imaging settings including ER, ICU, OR, and outpatient
• Proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment and PACS
• Skills in infection prevention, isolation precautions, radiation safety, and contrast media preparation and/or administration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

• Perform diagnostic imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions including extremities, spine, pelvis, chest, abdomen, and head
• Conduct portable and mobile imaging procedures including C-arm and O-arm (preferred)
• Apply infection prevention protocols and radiation safety standards in all patient care settings
