American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience, including Surgery C-arm and portable proficiency, for a night shift position at an academic medical center in Louisville, KY.

Details

• Diagnostic radiology department within a 462-bed academic medical center
• Patient population includes ER patients, inpatients, and stroke protocol cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Equipment includes Shimadzu and GE portable units; O-arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred
• EMR systems: Cerner and McKesson
• Tuesday through Friday night shifts, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM (10-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift call requirement per month
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray/Radiology experience
• ARRT certification required
• KY Radiation Operators License required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Active NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Proficiency with Surgery C-arm and portable X-ray equipment required
• O-arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Fully vaccinated for both COVID-19 and influenza required — no exceptions
• US Social Security Number required

• Scrub color: ceil blue top with black or ceil blue bottoms
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire in the same month as the assignment start date
