American Traveler seeks a GI Lab Scrub Tech with a minimum of 2 years of hospital scrubbing experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a hospital in Hilo, Hawaii.

Details

• Hospital GI Lab setting performing endoscopy procedures
• Variable shifts within a 0645–2315 operating window based on department needs
• Scheduled 40 hours per week
• On-call coverage required 24/7; travelers are assigned call an average of 1–2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month, with a 20-minute callback requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to independently scrub endoscopy cases
• BLS certification required
• Active Hawaii state license required by start of assignment; candidates not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance of offer — license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Assist with room turnover cleaning between cases
• Transport patients as needed
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment; travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday morning Employee Health appointment
