American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with CA licensure and 2+ years of experience for a day-shift position at an outpatient radiation oncology center in the Palo Alto, CA area.

Details

• Outpatient radiation oncology setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• No weekend, call, or floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active California Radiation Therapist license required (CRT), if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Competently performs routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to deliver safe, precise, and accurate treatments
• Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May be responsible for orienting other staff to the department
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday off will be approved during the contract
