American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with CA licensure and 2+ years of experience for a day-shift position in an outpatient radiation oncology setting with no weekends, call, or floating required.

• Outpatient radiation oncology setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend, call, or floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active California Radiation Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT and CRT certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Ability to perform routine and specialized radiation treatments accurately and independently
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Competently delivers routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures
• Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other department staff
• Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
• Previous employees must have been gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years are required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications are required for consideration
