Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of recent diagnostic imaging experience for a travel assignment at a Level II Trauma, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital in Stafford, VA.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 90 total staffed beds, a 15-bed ED, OR, pediatric, and ICU services
• Level II Trauma, Joint Commission-accredited community hospital
• X-Ray/Diagnostic Imaging department
• Daily caseload of approximately 50 patients
• Procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, upper and lower extremities, enema studies, and surgery/C-arm
• Equipment includes PACS, portable X-ray, C-arm, and contrast
• Charting via Epic
• Friday through Sunday, 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• On-call availability preferred but not consistently required
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
• Local candidates are welcome with no radius restriction

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray/diagnostic imaging experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required; VA form allowing work while license is pending (up to 90 days) is accepted — license required if applicable
• Proficiency with PACS, portable X-ray, C-arm, and contrast administration
• Experience with a broad range of imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, surgery/C-arm, and musculoskeletal studies
