American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital using Epic EMR.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology department with 5 imaging rooms
• Imaging studies include X-ray, OR (C-arm), and fluoroscopy
• Department utilizes Toshiba rad rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms
• PACS system: Fuji Synapse; EMR: Epic
• Average of 400 scans/studies per day
• Radiologists and residents are in-house 24/7
• 3x12-hour night shifts per week, with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• No call or on-call requirement
• No floating to other areas required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Rad Tech experience
• Current ARRT certification and BLS
• WV State License required if applicable
• Proficiency with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
• Experience with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 supervisor/peer references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR C-arm procedures
• Radiologist residents are on-site around the clock
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Department-specific orientation is provided
• Candidates must supply their own radiation dosimetry badge through their agency — the facility does not provide one
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
• Candidates may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
• Holiday coverage is expected as scheduled
