American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting with EP cross-training opportunities.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology Cath Lab setting with 2 dedicated Cath Lab rooms and an EP Lab
• Performs 8–10 procedures per day across diagnostic and interventional cardiology, averaging 6–8 STEMI cases per month
• Radiologic Technologist rotates into the EP Lab as part of the care team
• Call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Radiologic Technologist
• On-call expectation of 8–10 days per month, rotating one night per week (5:30 PM–7:00 AM) and one weekend every 3 weeks (Friday 5:30 PM–7:00 AM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
• Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with one rotating day off per week
• 36/48-hour weekly rotation over a two-week pay period (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next)
• STEMI Alert response required within 30 minutes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist experience
• Active Kentucky or compact state license required if applicable
• BLS certification (AHA only, front and back of card required if not electronic)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include panning the table and scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Equipment experience includes Shock Wave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and the Acist Contrast Injector
• Performs device implants including pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, and bi-ventricular leads), as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Physicians use both radial and groin access
• EP experience is preferred; cross-training to EP for ablations is provided for candidates without prior EP experience
• Scrubs and lead apron are provided by the facility
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
