Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a large academic hospital setting
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs, though preferred shift will be accommodated when possible
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to travel assignments
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• After 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment there
• Two professional references required for consideration
