American Traveler is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor for a travel assignment in Lander, WY, requiring ASCP certification and a minimum of 3 years of recent lab supervisor experience.

Details

• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Laboratory department of a hospital setting
• Weekends on request only
• Oversees day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests

Requirements

• Active WY or Compact RN license currently in hand
• ASCP certification required
• BLS certification required (must be through the American Heart Association; RCIS certifications not accepted)
• Minimum of 3 years of recent laboratory supervisor experience
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
• High school diploma required; must have graduated from a MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or another HHS-approved organization
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Full US SSN required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Supervises laboratory personnel and ensures adherence to quality control protocols under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Medical Director
• Assists in maintaining laboratory equipment and supports staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• All certifications must be valid and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
