American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency, with night shift scheduling and every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, altered mental status (AMS), and sepsis
• Night shift nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5–6; charge nurse carries a reduced patient load when staffing allows
• Charge nurse is free when fully staffed with 5 RNs; otherwise carries 3–6 patients depending on staffing levels
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7p–7a
• 36 hours per week with option to pick up additional PRN hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to like medical/surgical departments as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg experience required; Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
