American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and an every-other-weekend requirement.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, AMS, and sepsis
• Night shift: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week with option to pick up additional PRN hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to like Med/Surg departments as needed
• Night shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6; no LPNs on nights
• Charge nurse carries a reduced patient load depending on staffing levels
• Epic EMR — experience required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
