Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or compact licensure.

Details

• Full-time, 13-week contract in a hospital ICU setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR is used for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado (CO state or compact license) required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speaking, reading, and writing)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing monitoring of patient health data
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Two references are required for consideration
