American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR/Open Heart experience for a travel OR position at a hospital in Lafayette, IN.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting with 10 ORs on the 2nd Floor North
• Patient population includes General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart/CVOR cases
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), Monday–Friday with a rotating day off
• Weekday and weekend call rotation required
• No float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CST experience required
• CST certification and NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• CVOR/Open Heart experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• US SSN required
• Active license required, if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Robotics training and Vascular/Open Heart experience are preferred
• Surgery scrubs are provided by the facility
• Ideal candidate is positive, self-motivated, attentive, and able to anticipate surgical needs in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay package
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 3+ years of experience is required
