American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Unit position at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital, requiring chemo certification and Epic experience.

Details

• Work in the Infusion Unit of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Level II Trauma Center setting
• Schedule is 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts, 7:00–19:30
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
• Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed
• Charting system is Epic; experience is required
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license
• Current certifications required: BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Must not have any priors on nursing license
• Trauma Center experience at a large facility required
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved for the assignment
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
