American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR Tech position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a Georgia or Compact RN license, working night shifts on a 4x10 schedule.

Details

• Hospital CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x10 hours (21:00–07:30)
• Floating within scope of practice, including to the Main OR as needed
• Call requirements include approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
• Weekends are included in call requirements
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• All relevant certifications must be active and in hand
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• No alternate shifts or scheduling requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
