American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN (Circulator) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, with Epic proficiency and the ability to independently circulate across multiple surgical service lines.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Block scheduling required
• 1:1 patient ratio
• On-call required: 1–2 weeknights per six-week period, with 1 weekend of call per six weeks
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; surgical services attire is provided
• No parking fee
• Travelers may be required to float between all facilities within Washington State

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Competency in circulating total joint, robotic general and urology, laparoscopic general, GYN, and colorectal cases independently
• Ability to schedule surgical cases
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Circulate across a variety of surgical service lines including total joints, robotic general and urology, laparoscopic general, GYN, and colorectal cases
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within Washington State may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
