American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN specializing in Wound/Ostomy Care for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active Wound Care Certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Wound Care unit
• Serves a broad patient population spanning pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Consult-driven role requiring strong independent clinical judgment in wound assessment, staging, and treatment planning
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Wound Care Certification from ABWM or NAWCO required; pending certification may be considered for candidates with exceptionally strong wound care and ostomy skills
• Minimum 3 years of wound care experience required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR
• Strong documentation, independent clinical assessment, and collaborative communication skills required
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Functions as a subject matter expert, independently managing wound consults, assessments, staging, and treatment plan recommendations
• Plays an active role in educating clinical staff on wound care best practices
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
