Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a 4x10 day shift contract in a cardiac cath lab setting.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Procedures include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
• Preferred procedures include Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
• Preferred equipment and system experience includes Cerner, ACIST, acute monitoring, and room circulation
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) per week and one 24-hour weekend call shift per month
• Local rate applies for candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required; MD State License required if applicable
• Proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
• Must be able to perform effectively in a high-paced environment
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
