Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with 1-3 years of experience for a night shift position at an acute care facility in New Jersey requiring an active NJ RT License.

Details

• Inpatient radiology setting at an acute care hospital in New Jersey
• Performs general diagnostic X-Ray imaging procedures
• Uses Epic for charting
• 13-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating 7-week schedule
• 39 hours per week
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• Active NJ State RT License required (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Assess and maintain patient safety, comfort, and physiological well-being throughout procedures
• Monitor cases for needed procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging workflow
