American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Interventional Radiology RN with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a Level 1 Trauma facility in Illinois.

Details

• Interventional Radiology (IR) department focused on peripheral vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
• Procedures include peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, embolization (arterial/venous), venous thrombectomy, and ideally neuro interventional cases
• 1:1 patient care ratio for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 4x9 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing — temp license accepted; license required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Administer medications and manage patient care during moderate sedation procedures
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, identify life-threatening arrhythmias, and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
• Collaborate with a cohesive team of 3–4 staff, including RNs and Radiology Technologists
• Participate in department quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Travelers who have been on assignment for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break before returning to any facility location
