Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) licensed in Colorado for a Level III trauma center OR position requiring broad surgical specialty experience including robotics, ortho, and neuro/spine.

Details

• Work in a Level III trauma center with 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites
• Surgical specialties include General, Ortho, Brain/Spine, Neuro, Robotics, Eyes, OB-GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, and Trauma
• Robotic platforms in use include Exactech, Mako, Stealth, and DaVinci
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience
• Experience with Ortho/total joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics required
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• CST certification from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT required
• Active Colorado Surgical Tech (CST) license through DORA required — license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Scrub into a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties in a busy OR environment
• Support robotic-assisted procedures using Exactech, Mako, Stealth, and DaVinci platforms
• Colorado is one of a small number of states that requires CSTs to hold an active state license through DORA — candidates without this license will not be considered
