American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience in invasive cardiac procedures for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ.

Details

• Work in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab
• Procedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy), IR cases, and peripheral vascular procedures
• STEMI coverage required
• Impella and IABP use expected
• Monitoring and recording performed on MacLab (training provided)
• EMR: Cerner
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 9–10 shifts per month and 1 weekend per month

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• ARRT certification required — RCIS certification not accepted
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures
• Experience with Impella and IABP required
• Structural heart experience preferred but not required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include scrubbing and monitoring/recording cath lab procedures
• Knowledge of cath lab products and room restocking expected
• Any solid color scrubs permitted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
