American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 12-week travel contract in Key West, FL, requiring 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• CT Scanner department in an acute care hospital setting
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Performs routine diagnostic CT scanning including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
• ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• Active FL state radiographer license required (if applicable)
• BLS required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon Aquilion CT equipment preferred but not required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must remain active through at least 30 days after the contract start date
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include CT studies with and without contrast media, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT system processing, and surgical/sterile procedures
• Works under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• AHCA background check is required for this Florida placement
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
