Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week surgery unit assignment at a community hospital.

Details

• Work in a non-trauma designated community hospital OR department with 14 operating rooms
• Case volumes average 35–40 cases per day with a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases
• Primary specialties include General Surgery, GYN, Plastics, Orthopedics, and Bariatrics
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Charting performed in Meditech EMR
• Shift hours are 09:00–21:30
• OR scrubs are provided on-site and free parking is available

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OR Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• Preferred specialty experience in Orthopedics, Vascular, Robotic Surgery, and Plastics
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

• Scrub into a high-volume OR environment supporting a broad range of surgical specialties
