American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology position at an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT certification and the ability to rotate across multiple imaging areas including OR, ICU, ED, and fluoroscopy.

• Work in a diagnostic radiology department at a 373-bed acute care hospital (344 acute, 29 inpatient rehab) without a trauma designation
• Serves inpatient, observation, outpatient, and ED patient populations
• Department performs an average of 175 imaging studies per day
• Imaging services include X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine
• Provides imaging in the ED, fluoroscopy, OR (C-arm and O-arm), and portables; team also rotates to an on-campus rehab facility for fluoro, general X-ray, and portable imaging
• Equipment includes GE Precision 500D R&F rooms, Shimadzu RadSpeed (ED), Shimadzu MD8 and Konica mKDR Xpress portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm
• EMR: Epic; RIS: Epic Radiant; PACS: Philips iSite
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• On-call required approximately 2 shifts per month as needed
• No weekend rotation
• No floating outside the department

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology; recent experience within the last year required
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
• Current BLS required
• Active state license required, if applicable
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy, OR (C-arm and O-arm), ICU portables, and emergency department imaging required — must be able to rotate in all areas
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, required for consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
• Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Black scrubs required
