American Traveler is hiring a EEG Technologist for a 16-week travel contract in a clinical neurophysiology outpatient setting, requiring REEGT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience including pediatric cases.

Details

• Outpatient clinical neurophysiology lab setting within a cardiac device clinic
• Patient population includes heart failure and arrhythmia cases requiring ablations, cardioversions, and cardiac implant interrogations
• Approximately 50% of patients are pediatric
• Day shift hours of 7:45 AM–4:15 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Requirements

• REEGT certification required
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience
• Pediatric EEG experience required (approximately 50% of caseload is pediatric)
• Proficiency in gluing electrodes with collodion required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• At least two professional references from a nurse manager or supervisor — one within the past 6 months and one within the past year
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Block schedules are not available for any reason
• Orientations are held bi-weekly on Mondays
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• Employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
• Two professional references are required — at least one from a supervisor or nurse manager within the past 6 months
