American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 18 months to 2 years of experience in a multi-room nuclear medicine unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER populations.

Details

• 3-room nuclear medicine unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
• Average caseload of 13–15 patients per day
• Required procedures include cardiac studies, bone scans, liver/spleen scans, lung scans, thyroid studies, tumor localization, and myocardial imaging
• Preferred procedure experience includes brain scans, renal flow, and SPECT
• Charting performed in Cerner (required)
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Day shift, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Hours may vary depending on workload

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
• IV start proficiency required
• PACS experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Indiana or Compact license required if applicable
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required

• Travelers may be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
