American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at a large academic Level I Trauma hospital, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN credentials and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) unit in a large, 579-bed Level I Trauma academic teaching hospital with 2 campus sites
• Caseload of up to 8 patients per day (4 in the AM, 4 in the PM); twin pregnancies count as 2 scans
• Scope includes OB/GYN procedures — GYN experience required; breast experience is not required
• Procedures include routine and detailed fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB, BPP, umbilical and MCA Dopplers, 1st trimester scans, pelvic exams, sonohysterograms, and HyCoSy
• Epic EMR — experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Sunday
• Weekend availability on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Large, academic teaching hospital experience required
• Proficiency in OB/GYN ultrasound including fetal anatomy scans, BPP, Doppler studies, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel experience required
• Two professional references required — at least one from a nurse manager or supervisor within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• This position is an interview-to-offer (IVS) process
• Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• COVID and flu vaccination declinations are accepted — proof of vaccination or signed declination must be provided
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
