Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with an Ohio license, ARRT in Radiation Therapy Technology, and full competency on Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon linacs for a hospital-based oncology department.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Monday through Friday schedule, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, no weekends or on-call
• Standard shifts are 8.5 hours (including a 30-minute lunch break); 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
• 40 hours per week expected
• Uses Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon linacs
• Uses Aria version 15 for EMR/treatment management
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Full competency on Varian TrueBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15 required
• Experience with VisionRT or OSMS preferred but not required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• First week orientation is held on a day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) for onboarding purposes
• Black scrub pants required; any top color acceptable
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Previously placed candidates do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
