American Traveler is hiring a dual-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a Level III regional hospital in Steamboat Springs, CO, requiring at least 1 year each of CT and X-Ray experience.

Details

• Level III regional hospital setting in a mountain resort community (Steamboat Springs, CO)
• Dual-modality role requiring proficiency in both CT and diagnostic X-Ray
• May be asked to work in the OR with a GE C-Arm and perform routine radiology exams
• Uses Siemens Drive 256-slice dual source/dual energy CT scanner and GE C-Arm equipment
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Night shift schedule on a 7-on/7-off rotation: Wed & Thu 10:00 PM–7:30 AM, Fri 9:00 PM–7:30 AM, Sat & Sun 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Mon & Tue 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
• One additional 6-hour float shift scheduled every other week
• Weekend coverage required per unit needs
• On-call required every 5th or 6th weekend, dependent on staffing
• Candidates who live within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in CT and X-Ray, with at least 1 year in each modality
• Active ARRT certification with CT and Radiography designations — RT(R)(CT)(ARRT)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Demonstrated X-Ray skills including C-arm, head, chest, and extremity imaging
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to work independently in a multi-modality environment
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging studies and routine diagnostic radiography, including OR fluoroscopy with a GE C-Arm
• Pediatric imaging experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with Siemens Drive 256-slice scanner and CCTA is preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO is capped at 10 days for the contract duration
• RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: March 14–21, May 8–11, May 21–27, and June 28–July 9
