Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist with RDMS certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment at an island community hospital off the coast of Massachusetts.

Details

• Work in the Imaging department of a small community hospital serving a year-round population of 15,000+ residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
• Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (4x10 schedule)
• On-call required Wednesday and Thursday nights, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Ultrasound/Sonography experience
• RDMS certification through ARDMS required
• BLS required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• The facility is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
