American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a night shift travel contract at a Magnet-designated, academic Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work setting is an 865-bed Magnet-designated, academic Level 1 trauma teaching hospital
• CT Scan unit with a daily caseload that varies by shift and location
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation with staff is required
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities, is required
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year of CT tech experience preferred
• Active BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• Siemens CT scanner experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• South Carolina state license required — license must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted
• License required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have prior relevant experience

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit availability
• Pre-start orientation modules are required and must be completed before the assignment begins
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Parking on nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 payment for a parking pass
