American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department setting, with potential floating to other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• Travelers may be assigned to and float between main campus (Dayton), a south campus (Centerville, less than 10 miles away), and a north campus (Englewood, less than 15 miles away)
• Floating is at the facility's discretion; travelers float first and may be assigned to specialty clusters, medically appropriate assignments, or support roles including high-risk respiratory/COVID units
• Schedule is 4x9-hour day shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is required
• May have on-call responsibilities based on departmental needs

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT, and ODH certification required
• OR (operating room) experience is required
• Travel experience preferred
• Proficiency in independently performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, including proper use of contrast media and venipuncture
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include independently performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining equipment in good working condition
• Candidates must be fitted for an N95 respirator prior to working on high-risk respiratory units, unless a PAPR is provided
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be added after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted for this Radiology position
