American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a fast-paced IR unit handling neuro, oncology, and vascular cases.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit performing angiography for neuro, oncology, and vascular cases, as well as multi-modality biopsies
• High-volume unit with 16–20 cases per day
• Day shifts scheduled as 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 4–6 weekend shifts required during the contract
• One day of on-call required per week
• May float to the Cath Lab
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active Louisiana State Radiology Technologist (LSRT) license required — a temporary LSRT license is accepted and can be issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Perform IR procedures including neuro, oncology, and vascular angiography, as well as biopsies across multiple modalities
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested during the contract; the facility is strict regarding excessive RTO requests
