American Traveler is seeking a Surgical/OR Tech with 3–5+ years of OR experience for an outpatient OR position at a large academic medical center.

Details

• Outpatient OR setting at a large academic medical center (500+ bed facility)
• General surgery patient population
• Epic EMR used in both Circulator and Scrub roles
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts: Monday–Wednesday and Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• 40 hours per week with a rotational day off — no set or block schedule
• No call, no weekend, and no holiday requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5+ years of current OR experience required
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required; certification (CST) is not required
• Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed count for this location)
• General surgery experience required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR in Circulator and/or Scrub roles
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Perform both scrub and circulator roles within the outpatient OR
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
