Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity hospital Operating Room position requiring prior travel experience.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required, with travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage is required
• Call shifts are part of the schedule
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• High-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center OR handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases

Requirements

• Prior travel experience as a Surgical Technologist is required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required, specifically in a high-volume, high-acuity environment
• Proven ability to manage critical and fast-paced surgical situations
• Background in large-scale hospitals with diverse and severe case types
• High proficiency across a broad surgical skill set is expected
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential preferred where applicable
• Active license required if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Burn surgery experience is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Skills checklist submitted must match the Surgical Technologist specialty
