Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cardiovascular or critical care experience and current ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) unit of a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Day shift: 07:00–15:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required
• BSN preferred
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, communicating with physicians about patient condition, assessing procedure room readiness, and obtaining supplies for individual cases
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
