Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU night shift travel contract requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to PCU required, with possible float to Med/Surg based on census needs
• 36-hour weekly work commitment

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
• Only AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications are accepted
