American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric OR position at a large acute care teaching hospital, requiring pediatric circulator experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Pediatric OR unit within a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:00)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No block scheduling required
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• Floating is required between all facilities within the state, which may include locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside
• OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license with OR endorsement required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pediatric circulator experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; excessive RTO requests may impact placement
• All RTO or scheduling requests must be communicated prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
