American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a day-shift OR position at an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA.

Details

• Acute care hospital OR setting with 392 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
• On-call requirement of approximately 4–6 call shifts per 6-week period, including weekend call
• Charting performed in Mediteach
• Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Free parking is available on-site
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is expected for this position; a small number of days may be approved but excessive RTO requests may impact eligibility
• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
