American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a day-shift OR position at an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 392 staffed beds
• OR / Surgical Tech unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call requirement of approximately 4–6 call shifts per 6-week period, with weekend call included in that total
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
• Charting system: Mediteach
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required, if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs may be any color
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
• Minimal to no RTO is preferred for this position; a few days may be approved but excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
• Any RTO or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
