Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position at a Level II acute care teaching hospital, requiring drip management experience and PA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• PCU/Stepdown unit in a 370-bed acute care, Level II teaching hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• 13-week contract with a rotating schedule: 6 weeks on day shift (7:00–19:30) followed by 7 weeks on night shift (19:00–7:30)
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend required
• Floating within scope to like units required to meet facility needs
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience managing the following drips required: insulin, nicardipine, dexmedetomidine, and nitroglycerin
• PCU/Stepdown experience required
