Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with robotics, spine, total joints, and general OR experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital operating room setting.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital operating room (OR) unit
• AM shift, 12-hour shifts
• On-call is required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays (approximately 1–2 call days per month)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Experience with robotics, spine, total joints, and general OR cases required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel experience is preferred for this position
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum of 18 months separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
• RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if clustered on consecutive days
• Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration
• Active license must be provided if applicable
